A Call To Arms?

Post by indyfrisco »

Looks like the NFL guys can't handle a little ribbing.

viewtopic.php?t=17691

To who PMed me the following, Rack you. It worked.
Indy, seeing as we have more posts than the NFL thread, I think we should be moved above them on the front page. You know, just a little "CFB is a much better game than NFL poke."
And like I replied to you, no matter how much better this forum is, the powers that be (killer whale) will always keep it at #2. Also, don't be surprised if we end up under Trots after this. :brad:

This could be fun and make the days until the season starts go by pretty quickly.

The NFL forum sounds like a home for bowling league rejects and Jim Rome wannabes.

Just curious -- why did the hockey forum move ahead of both the NFL forum and this forum? Did Shoalzie have anything to do with that?

Nah. Like I said before, don't be surprised if we got moved beneath TROTS after stirring the pot. Instead, they just moved Hockey above both of them.

WGAF? It was all about instigating. It worked.

I'll find out in two weeks, Vito.

I have been told (by a St. Loser, granted) that there's a certain 'que joint right off I-35 near Dallas that warrants some attention.

I'll be stopping by to see what all the fuss is about.

Would Jon be considered Board Bitch Jesus and mTool be considered Bo Jackson? You know Jon is the cream of the crop here (when babs isn't around) and mTool can flat out board bitch himself out in many forums...

With all the fuss about surpassing the NFL forum in total posts, I think it should be pointed out that we're also closing in on the main forum in terms of total posts. So perhaps we should go to the very head of the line, not just the head of the line for sports forums. What say you?

I give Jon credit, he takes a lot of heat but he sticks with it here and I respect that.

Trix couldn't handle the heat and moved to the NFL board.

If both would come correct they might get a little respect but that is why we call them Bitches.

as someone in Denver and not much of a NFL fan the AFC West board at the oneboard reads a lot like this to me:

A: yer team sucks and you need a tampon you bleeding pussy
B: no, yer team sucks and you need a tampon you bleeding pussy

A: fuck you, yer a fag.
B: no, yer a fag, fag.

(repeat ad infinitum, ad nauseum)

Cool.

Like i said though, Jimmah, anyone who starts a thread like this has already achieved front runner status in any "Board Bitch" contest that has ever been devised.

It shows your immaturity and lack of self respect. If you don't respect others, you can't possibly respect yourself.

Seriously, do you ever tire of being a boring cunt?

KuntisCrimson,

Of the first 15 topics currently on the NFL Board, only ONE is 'exclusively' an AFC West topic.

Belichik, T.O., 49ers, 'pick a player', Rothlisberger, training camp, fantasy football, .... on and on.

Pick a topic & post in it ....... or start one of your own.

Or .... sit here and suck your thumb.

do you guys cross swords over there too? does Raydah James still post pics of himself or Colin Hay and talk about how "good looking" he is?

Whitey, the point is that nobody in this forum respects you - and you've never done anything to make them.

But props on discussing concepts like maturity and self-respect. It would appear you and JON have a lot in common.

I'm alternately devastated and then amused, and then also wondering if Meds speaks for the entire CFB forum?

Actually, the point is that this forum has to earn my respect, not vice versa.

You fucks better pray that Mizzou doesn't dominate the Big XII this year like I expect...I'll be all over it...and not giving a flying fuck what the likes of a BOARD BITCH like Jimmy Meds thinks.

I hope for your sake this is a troll job because you can already count one home loss on your schedule on about oh, lets say October 28th.

Tech and A&M are probably going to be tough games too being on the road and all.

You have a new starting QB and that is usually not a good thing.

After 10 years only three teams from both divisions have made the Big 12 title game..

North Nebraska, Kansas St and Colorado

South Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Texas

I do not see anything changing in the South, but the North seems wide open to me this year, at this point I really do not have a prediction on who is going to win the North, Mizzzu has as good as chane as anyone, but you are not up to the level of the South and your are playing 3 of the top 4 teams. You might want to worry about Mississippi and New Mexico first.

As far as the NFL forum goes, I read it from time to time, I am just not emotionally invested in any team to follow them enough to feel like I should post in there. Football fans are pretty good in general.

That being said, fuck the NFL, CFB is where it is at. ;)
