A Worthy Electric Car

Post by See You Next Wednesday »

Electric cars have tended to be ugly, glorified golf carts with no power. But check out the latest engineering marvel. This isn't just a prototype, this baby will be for sale, not cheaply though, of course.

250 miles per charge? How much gas you going to need to spend on the generator you have to tote around to charge the damn thing on a cross country trip?

It is an 80k two seater. In other words, it is even less functional than Rack Fu's 54k 2WD SUV. But you could easily make a cross country trip with it were you to mix in a long lunch at a truck stop every day.

A VERY long lunch.

and bilked a lot of the locals of $$$ with claims he had

Does mileage go down if the lights, radio and AC are all turned on?

They named a highway after the CEO of Union Carbide during the Bophal disaster?

Is that anywhere near the Albert Speer State Park?
