Prior to today, I'd seen news reports featuring Hezbollah and Hizbollah, but I just now read an article in Time that references "Hizballah". WTF?! They (the press) pulled the same shit with Al Qaida if you recall...featuring such variances as Al Quaida, Al Qaeda and Al Qaida.

It's almost like it's a mix-n-match contest with vowels and phonics to try to find a new way to spell a terrorist group's name when you write an article now.

Now all of this would be perfectly understandable if the affected countries all spoke different languages, but they all speak Arabic!

Pick one and stick to it.
