Let me run this by you again. I know that your slow and all so I'll keep it basic. One of the other Mensas on here posted something along the lines of that I'll never be an ASAC or SAC. If he knew anything about the reality of the situation, the insult would be to actually say that I would be an ASAC or SAC. This is more of an inside joke than a sweeping generalization as I would go to the ends of the earth for some of our leaders. Others became supervisors and got out of the field for a reason. You can draw your own conclusions.
Back to your lack of a point. I pointed out that the fun of the job is talking to people, arresting people and taking part in the operations from the action perspective. Supervisors don't do any of that. My reference to them being on the scene is due to the obvious fact that we have a hierarchy that would require an on-scene commander for certain operations - just like any law enforcement or military organization. Do you think that our HRT or SWAT teams go out there on their own or do you think that they have people above the GS-13 paygrade on hand as well? What makes logical sense there, Einstein?
Feel free to think that Agents are stripped of all control because there is a chain of command that must be followed.
