Pickem contest o6

Post by Nolesy »

Whats the status of this years contest. If memory serves me correctly I believe Frisco said he could no longer be the warden of such.
Is some one else going to take it on? I would be willing to help but it has been pointed out to me that my computer skills are less than optimumal.
Hell I think a spread sheet is something you put on the dinning room table prior to a meal.
Fuck the ACLU. It will always be Merry Christmas to me.

Let's make it a Michigan fan. Say...Wolverine Steve?

So in the end when a winner is announced, the rest of the losers can blame Steve for how he kept score. Then he'll get pissed off at us, claiming we're acting like a bunch of irrational pussies, and then the light bulb will go on when he finally, yes FINALLY understands why the rest of the universe despises his boy, Llllllllllllloyd.

^Wherever did that come from?

I really don't care if you like my team's coach.

Who's coaching the Bronc's this year?

You talk shit about my team...I'm trying to learn about yours.

I didn't smack. If you took that as smack, you're weaker than I thought.

There must be a reason you brought me up in this thread.

But it would sure be nice if we had someone with some 'puter skillz working on this project. Scibbled notes on notebook paper covered with Skoal spittle and beer gets a little tough to read at 4AM. Just sayin'.
I would be more than happy to help someone, I don't have the time to do it myself but I could help behind the scenes. Frisco, you mind giving us some pointers.

Does a dude with Excell/VBA skills have the ability to produce an interface whereby users could log in using their username and input their own 10 game selections from a large list (e.g. using radio buttons, with a limit of only 10 picks and an error warning if you picked less than 10, plus a field for people to enter their score of one selected game), so that after the games are played, all that needs to be done is for the administrator of the game to put the scores in the program, and then the program automatically generates a list, by username, with their correct picks and updates a season standings list? Because that would be really sweet and stuff. Just sayin.
Easily.

My only issue is time. Unfortunately, I have many similar projects to complete at work, as this is what I do for a living. But I'll see what I can do. I'll probably need one of you's help getting it linked up to a website.

Proof that I don't give a shit about you or whomever you align yourself with. You took the pot shot, I must've got you mixed up with another Lloyd detractor...pardon me.

Now kindly get off my ankles.
