Looks like the Patriots' best linebacker may be out for awhile. . . . . who on your team got nicked up in camp?

What's the feeling on Steve Smith's hammy? Day-to-day or something more?
From the moment we leave the forest, Dan, it's all a givin' up and adjustin'.

Cardinals lose tackle Oliver Ross to knee injury

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. Arizona Cardinal right tackle Oliver Ross will miss at least three weeks, and possibly as many as ten after injuring his right knee.

Coach Dennis Green says Ross may have torn his meniscus. The club was awaiting test results.

Ross is an eight-year veteran.

He said he hurt his knee during a blocking drill during this morning's practice at Northern Arizona University.

Ross signed a five-year free agent contract last year.

He missed four games a year ago with a broken hand.

Green says Fred Wakefield could replace Ross in the lineup.

The Cardinals also announced today they've released tight end Ben Hall, who was signed to their practice squad last November.

Deja vu.

Cards dealt bad hand: tackle King out with breakAssociated Press

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle Kenny King will be sidelined for about a month with a broken right hand, coach Dennis Green said on Friday.

King was injured during Thursday morning's workout. The former Alabama star has spent the past two seasons on injured reserve and he missed most of his rookie year in 2003 after twice breaking his right wrist. The new injury is not related to his wrist problems, Green said.

In another injury matter, starting offensive right tackle Oliver Ross plans to get a second opinion on his injured right knee over the weekend. Ross tore his meniscus in practice on Thursday. He could be out as long as 10 weeks.
