If pre-season means anything...
Teams to Watch:
Vikings - Great D. If Johnson stays healthy they could go far.
Giants - Tough D. The jury is still out on the offense.
Cowboys - Tough D. Same as above re offense.
Not convinced they've got anything yet:
Raiders
Bengals
Prospects looking dim:
Redskins
Chiefs
Titans
Darkhorse Teams:
Vikings
Dolphins
Yer full of poop, the pre-season means nothing and we are going to kick ass:
Panthers
Patriots
Steelers
Colts
Eagles

Pre Season Means nothing - Your way off on some of these:
Teams to Watch:
Vikings - Great D. If Johnson stays healthy they could go far. Weak Division - but no threat to bears
Giants - Tough D. The jury is still out on the offense. Good Call expect them to win the east
Cowboys - Tough D. Same as above re offense. I thought early they might be good, but this TO thing has major problems written on it already
Not convinced they've got anything yet:
Raiders You must have just watched the one game vs. Det - This is a horrible team (OK better than Det)
Bengals If Palmer is ready from his knee - will compete for the AFC title
Prospects looking dim:
Redskins If Portis isn't healthy - your right
Chiefs I'll reserve judgement with my homer myopia - still call for a wild card at minimum
Titans Will be at the bottom again this year
Darkhorse Teams:
Vikings see above
Dolphins Yes - if Culpepper stays healthy
Yer full of poop, the pre-season means nothing and we are going to kick ass:
Panthers My call to win the Super Bowl
Patriots Pretty good - but major questions at WR
Steelers I see a down year - will still make the playoffs, but not going back to the super Bowl
Colts can't win in the playoffs
Eagles Will be better and may compete for a wildcard with Dallas

I like the Vikes to win their division.Uncle Fester wrote:Teams to Watch:

Giants - Rough division, and I'm not sold on Eli's toughness. We'll see
Cowboys - I'm with Scott. I thought the T.O. signing would work out, but I can see an implosion on the horizon. It's gonna get ugly.
Not convinced they've got anything yet ... ?Not convinced they've got anything yet:

Whatever that means.
I like Cincy to win it's division, and I like Oakland to win 3-5 games more than they did last year.
Redskins will compete for the divison.Prospects looking dim:
Redskins
Chiefs
Titans
KC won't. Team on the decline.
Tennessee is a year away from being competetive again.
'Trendy' darkhorses, Fester.Darkhorse Teams:
Vikings
Dolphins
I think Miami will disappoint a little.
Panthers will be solid.Yer full of poop, the pre-season means nothing and we are going to kick ass:

Patriots
Steelers

Eagles
Patriots will compete for the East.
Steelers finish 2nd to the Bungles.
Colts finish 2nd to the Faguars.
Eagles need some more 'skill' players. They are an also-ran.

Re: Predictions
I think the Vikes are fucked b/c they lost their #1 receiver with two weeks to go... and Taylor is playing hurt- won't be able to carry the load. Eli is not his brother... his tells are worse than a retard playing poker. Any Defense worth their salt can read what he is doing and where he is going with the ball. The Boys are going to be lacking in decent pass protection- Philly, Wash & the Giants are all going to have Bledsoe on his ass all day- making the TO situation worse b/c he won't be getting the ball.Uncle Fester wrote:If pre-season means anything...

Raiders still need a year or two for Shell to turn things around... but they need serious line work on both sides of the ball. The Bengals are a question- 3 TD's against the fuckin' Packers is good and all- but we need to see what Palmer can do against a real pass rush. Word is that he still pulling his eyes off the receiver when being blitzed... if he can't get past that- its a bad bad thing...Uncle Fester wrote:Not convinced they've got anything yet:

Agree on all 3- even the Skins. They are better than that game the other night- but even in Preseason- 41-0 is bad. In addition.. i think the trade for Duckett is a sign that Portis'injury is worse than they are letting on.Uncle Fester wrote:Prospects looking dim:

Not the Vikes- but I agree with the Dolphins. They have a real QB, no RB controversy and a solid receiving corp.. I think there is a legitmate shot they push or the division.Uncle Fester wrote:Darkhorse Teams:

Panthers are solid as hellUncle Fester wrote:Yer full of poop, the pre-season means nothing and we are going to kick ass:

Eagles
Pats- Not sold on 'em.. I think they may be a product of a weak divison- but they have to watch out for the Dolphins.
Steelers- They'll be back competing for the divison- but I think the pressure that the Birds front 4 got on Roth without bltizing should be a slight concern- though I still think they have one of the top 10 O lines in football
Colts- Not going to see too much of a drop off from James- Manningt will shoulder the load until Addai gets up to speed. Until then- he & rhoades will be a 1-2 punch..
Eagles- Going to surprise a shitload of people. Only wekness on the D is outside LB- they have alot of speed on the outside.. the front 4 is getting great pressure. In a divison where 2 of the QB's are statues- that is a beautiful thing. The signing of Stollworth gives a deep threat, B West is a mismatch in the flat.. if (and it s a big if) Buckhalter can stay healthy- they'll be fine.
Yeah fuckers.... I'm back
