I've come to believe that Iran isn't going to let a Democracy live in Iraq. Maybe something drastic could occur to change my mind, but it appears that the West is too weak to do anything about it. Once we leave there, does anyone not believe that the government will be overturned by masses of Anti-West, Anti-Infidel, Anti-Barry Manilow people? The poor peace loving pro Democracy, friendly folk who have been pro USA will be hunted down by the Hezbollah types...
I think it will get really ugly.
So what happens after we leave and Iran and the world gets to the line in the sand day? Kind of where the day comes that Iran REALLY has the Nukes, or is just around the corner from getting them? So what do you believe? Are you down for the side that says, "Iraq had no WMD's, and I believe Iran is really only after peaceful productions, for Nuclear energy facilities." Or, are you down with the folks who believe Iran is building Nukes for evil things?
It just seems so oddly gloomy for the people in the "West." Iran gets the nuke, slips a few dirty bombs to those zany hooligans in Hezbollah, and parades across any of our borders to share some radiation on a city like, oh say, Portland. Old Luth's ass being radiated in a manner of seconds. So what is the USA going to do with that? Vaporize Tehran in the next day? Muzzies all over will go Camel shit. They'll bring out those chains and will be beating their backs like a cheap high school band drum.
I was watching some obscure satellite channel late one night awhile back. They had some talking head giving his opinion on what the USA/West should do with the terrorism issue. He said that Iran/North Korea/ and Syria just be told that any WMD related attack, anywhere, would result in Tehran, Damascus and PingPongYang being eliminated from the face of the earth. I kind of whispered, "Oh whoa, this is too heavy to listen to with a few belts of whiskey in the system." The guy went on to explain that the Muzzies only respect power and strength. He said the Hezbollah types supposedly acting as sleeper cells in various countries might do some terrorism, but after they start seeing the big cities disappear, then they will just hide and shut the hell up.
I just don't know what to think. I'd like mvscal to give us his prediction on what will happen in the next decade. I don't know if I'll still be posting, but somebody will have predicted correctly, and then we can name a forum after them. Like we could name the forum for building a backyard bomb shelter to, "Mvscal's Bombastic Shelters and Survival Tips."
Does anybody have a sunny prediction ?
