Well, tomorrow's the big day
I'll be getting up really early and driving into LA for my 9:30 a.m. Jeopary audition at the Culver City Radisson.
If I can beat the odds and somehow get on the show, and then figure out a way to get "Rack the Trolls" out on national TV, I will have major lifetime BODE.
After the audition, it's on to lunch with the OL in Santa Monica at Ocean Avenue Seafood where I should have no problem dropping Zyclone-like cash on a meal.
If I remember to take along the digi-cam I'll come back here and post a Wolfmanesque travelogue including, but not necessarily limited to:
* the parking lot at Long's Drugs
* the homeless guy who hangs out by the stoplight at the corner of Centinela and Jefferson
* the loading dock and dumpster at the Radisson
* the outside of the factory where they make the seat covers for Boeing 777s
* a picture of the beach at Santa Monica, facing east.

Final Jeopardy would be the ideal time to Rack the Trolls with your answer. That would be epic. It will almost certainly not be a correct answer, but you probably wouldn't have a chance to win anyhow.

Even though "Rack the Trolls" would be epcot for thetrolls.net, it would still be funnier than hellsinski. Also remember, that your ah, shiny top may be unfriendly with the TV camera's. They have makeup that doesn't reflect light as much so you might want to look into that. When I took some senior pictures, some of the girls had that non-reflective stuff.
Take (4) Gax X in the morning of the show, as you don't want to be belching up that Chili-cheese-mushroom-pork rind omelette.
Good luck

Oh and remember if you get a question wrong pound your fist on the podium and yell "Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! I KNEW that one!!"
"This button SUCKS" is also a good one

Remember, when the answer is: Clueless, psycho-antagonistic lurking, no-life tard - the question will be - Who is Goober McToober?
You're welcome in advance....

Yep. If you get on a winning streak, keep dropping more references...more obscure each time.Y2K wrote:The next show drop some One Board bombs and props for Indy's epcot sauce.

Good luck Mike!
When I was was at USC a buddy got married and he and his wife came down to L.A. to audition for the New Newleywed Show or whatever the fuck it's called.
I took them over there and waited out in the hall as a bunch of shows are shot in that building. They came out and didn't make the cut. They said the show was more interested in people making jackasses out of themselves rather than being all serious trying to win like they were. Dumbasses.
Oh, and make sure at the end of the audition you give a good mv.scal reference that isn't too obscure.

I bet they make it pretty tough to drop that kind of stuff on their show.
A better way to claim
would be to go to NYC for one of the morning shows, where they let you into a pen to jump up and down and beg Al Roker to waddle over your way.

Mikey, I think I said this before, but I did the online test the beginning of the year, got called in for the February tryout, and I'm also on the list. If you did well enough online to get the invite, you should be fine. They just want to make sure you can answer the questions for yourself, that you can play the game and keep it flowing, and you can hold up your end of the conversation. (And having good blurbs for the chat with Alex probably wouldn't suck, either.) After that, it's just a matter of getting drawn. Good luck to us both.
WAR "'THIS PLACE SUCKS HORSE COCKS!'?...Oooh, I'm sorry, that's not correct."
P.S.: By the way, guys, Alex doesn't normally show up for the auditions.
P.P.S.: Since when is "PLACE" with the "l" and "a" transposed a curse word?

We could kick Alex and whatever nerdy fag was in the third contestant spot off the stage and have a live smack-off on national TV.
