Geez...Jackson, Branch, Burleson and Engram along with Alexander in the backfield...great talent at the skill positions. They didn't play a very good offensively yesterday against the Lions but they did play well on defense. As long as they never have to play another game at Ford Field, I think they'll be alright.

Last season, he caught 78 passes for 998 yards and five touchdowns, all career highs. In his four seasons, he has 213 receptions for 2,744 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Deion is a nice player, but his career numbers are not all that impressive. Thanks Seattle for the First Rounder.

This is just Seattle's way of saying their window is exactly one more year. It also means they don't expect D-Jack's knee to hold for more than 8 weeks.

Hasselbeck will have a hard time hooking up with Branch while sitting on his ass. By the looks of things against the Lions, the Hawks should have picked up an O lineman.

They dodged a bullet when Jones went down after he got accidentally leg-whipped by Rogers. As a unit, they were one of the best in the league last year. I can't believe that losing one guy is going to cause that huge of a drop-off. I'm sure he would've made a huge difference if he was still there yesterday. The Lions have at least been very strong on the defensive line, led by all-pro Shaun Rogers...even during this current stretch of futility. If they can play like that all year, that's at least something encouraging to look forward to. Pretty bad the great Tigers pitching staff gave up more runs than the Lions defense gave up in points.

2nd.

NFC is a little better this year. Seattle won't be able to take it by default.

Advantage :PUSH

with the Patriots draft history recently they will make great use of the first rounder.

and if and when Branch gets into playing shape that recieving core will be potent.

nice deal on both parts.

And yet Jerry Porter remains a Raider...

Rack - I watched pieces of this game (Rack Direct TV sunday Ticket) and watched Shaun get stuffed.

Losing Hutchinson seems to have made a much bigger impact than first thought.

Lucky for seattle the NFC West is the weakest conference in the league - With the NFC North a close second

Actually the AFC Worst is still the worst.

Seattle will be lucky to repeat as division champs, let alone winning the Super Bowl.

St. Loooey's defense is much improved and Stephen Jackson is a fucking stud. Zona will be a tougher matchup as well. Seattle should still win the west, but it's going to be much more difficult than last year. I hope the Walrus has a clue. The Branch signing suggests that the front office does.

It's not like you're getting a shot at the #1 overall next year. In fact, it just may be the last pick in the round.

Anyways... I applaud the Pats for not giving in to his ridiculous demands. The thing is, who the heck is Brady going to throw to now? The Bills D isn't as good as the Pats made it look. Good luck with that anemic offense.

The Pats track record with late first round picks is very good. Maroney was in the 20's and Logan Mankins was the last pick in the first round two years ago. These guys with 2 first rounders will find the two best players that fit their system. I also think you might see them package the two to move up higher. Never sure what they will do.

Gabriel and Chad Jackson did not play last week. Between Gabriel, Jackson, Troy Brown, Reche Caldwell, Ben Watson, Daniel Graham, Maroney, Dillon and whoever else they will be fine. Brady is the key. He had a bad game against Buffalo there is no doubt. He even said it himself.

I'd take Pittsburgh, Cincy, Denver, Baltimore and San Deigo in the AFC alone over Seattle this year.
