Confidence Results Week 1

Post by War Wagon »

Before the results are posted, two small requests.

In the future, please do not include your sig file in your picks.

Also, double check my math. PM me if I made a mistake and your score will be edited.

Tia for your cooperation.

Wags, 15 hours and 58 minutes late with the results.

Yahoo like? BWA! Never.
kcdave like? No, but you showed effort.
Shoalzie like? Fuck no brah. Congrats. While I hope you know Im just busting your balls right now, the next bastard thats hits Shoalzie status will ...... will ...... well, lets just hope we never have to go through that again.

$cotty, sup brah? I figured you to be a mans man. I had no idea you were part of the T1B HGTV home decorating crew. I will add you to the list of fags/lazy fucks/whatever, that do not know how to open more than one window.

Yeah...you lost me a little there, Wags. I put 16 for my most confident...wouldn't I get 16 points it being correct? Can someone explain to me the scoring system? First time player of the T1B confidence game...not familiar with how this game is ran. I'm in second place after Week 1...I guess I'm doing something right.

Same idea, but I believe that war wagon is doing the opposite. You are getting points for the ones you get wrong instead of the ones you get right. So obv the lower the score the better.

Usually, folks pick more winners than losers, so adding up the points lost is a simpler equation.

The object here, as in golf, is to be the perp with the lowest score.

Nice job in Week 1, Shoals.

RACK freaking Shoalzie for playing the game BACKWARDS and kicking almost everybody's ass.

Classic.

Either way of counting the points makes plenty of sense. Essentially what goes on with this is game is a form of gambling. Bet the most on your best plays and you get to keep those points...it's the points in the other direction you want to avoid. Just got a little confused when I saw how small my score was but then I was near the top of the standings anyways. I knew hit a lot of my most confident picks this past weekend. I wanted to assume you either counted the picks backwards or you were giving points for what games were wrong and the lowest score would win. I just remember whenever I did confidence picks in any of my pools, I'd add the points of the correct games but doing it the other way works just as well or better as Wags said.
