Van you need to keep in mind that the 05 Trojans were much better on offense than the 04 Trojans were. Yes I agree that the 04 defense was better than 05 but they had to be.

Are you kidding? the 04 USC offense was much better than the 05 offense. They didnt need to score a billion points a game because the defense could actually stop people. The 04 offense had a better O line, it had a real Fullback, 2 very good TE's and probably the greatest offensive mind in College Football leading them
I know Kirtman had tons of stats last year but when the team needed 2 yards in 04, theyd run behind Lee Webb and move the chains.
