The knee surgery just psuehd him over the edge. He was probably a fence rider for a while.

When I had my knee replacement done in 2004, I was fairly young (47), but they had my blood thinned out reaallll good.

I am going to get all my joint work done in the next 5 years and skip the old age surgery thing. My neighbor went throught his deck last week, and really fucked up his leg. it was black and blue, and red and all kinds of blood vessels were fucked up. He started feeling shitty after a couple of days, and my wife (RN) goes over there, his BP is off the fucking scale, the edema was so bad he could not walk on it.

She calls for an ambulance / rescue and they transport his ass. Turns out dude had so many broken blood vessesl, he bled out into the tissue, damn near got a blood infection and they had to keep his ass in their to make sure he did not kick it. Of course, being 62, 6 foot and 350 lbs plus don't help, with a family history of heart.. Hmmmm... I fixed his fucking deck for him too...

Probably the old blood clot got loose, and he stroked or had a pulmonary embolisim. Either one will kill your ass.

If it’s a known risk, they probably have you sign a waiver so that they aren’t liable.

I don't give a fukk how fat you are, a properly built deck done with the neccessary permits pulled would have stood up. 5/4 PT SYP, 16" OC with square head screws would stand up to RTS riding piggyback on shutyomouth. Mutherfukka prolly had messicans make it out of mdf and staples.

I take it your repair work involved the neccessary permits?

No... he's a cheap mother fucker and the deck was about 25 years old of untreated fir. He had been saying he was going to fix or replace it.

Permit is the mother fucking hammer in hand, and we don't live in no fucking city anyway.
