I just picked up a new PC that came with this..1024MB PC2-4200 DDR2 SDRAM.
It is expandable to 4gb.
New egg is selling a 512 stick for $65 or something like that but it says PC2-3200. Is that important to know?
Ram question

Your new PC is using DDR2 RAM. Don't mix them up.jiminphilly wrote:I just picked up a new PC that came with this..1024MB PC2-4200 DDR2 SDRAM.

Send me a link to the Newegg page, and give me a list of your computer specs.
I'm guessing you have an AM2 AMD-64 motherboard and processor, right?
