I've got to give him his props, that was freaking funny.During a Tuesday night book-signing for his new contribution to the world of literature - "Chad: I Can't Be Stopped" - Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad Johnson was approached by one fan who had a special demand.
According to a report in the Dayton Daily News, Brian Fleming told Johnson to "tell Carson Palmer to throw you the ball more.
"I have both of you on my fantasy team."
Johnson pulled out his cell phone, dialed and handed the phone to Fleming with a suggestion: "Tell him yourself."
The number indeed belonged to Palmer, who did not answer. Fleming left a message, then started wandering the aisles of the bookstore. Soon, Johnson's phone rang and he asked Fleming to return.
Palmer was on the other end, listening to a stunned Fleming repeat his message.

i've got no problem with CJ; especially after Brian Russell put 5 stitches in his chin!velocet wrote:If Qbert and KUTTER come in and rack this guy too we'll have history in the making I'll tell ya.
CJ gets RACKS until he turns it into a "ME" thing....so far, its always been about Team and FUN.
ya' can't fault him for that...(well....not yet?)???
i'll take it further and RACK Hines Ward too...just because he's the best "complete TEAM" receiver in the Game.
and, if anyone needs an explanation of that...you are a fuckin'TARD.
How's THAT velo???

I used to hate on Chad Johnson because I thought he was the next coming of T.O. He has proved me wrong...thus far. I give the dude his props. I'm glad to see all the celebration antics cubed by the league because I don't think it belongs on the field, but things like this are just as entertaining and do not display the classlessness that someone shows on the field after making a big play.
