Get Thee Behind Me, Chimp
When a duly-elected president of a large rich nation says he smells sulpher on the podium of the U.N General Assembly--why shouldn't you believe him?
After all, the Chimp IS diabolical--in a very real sense.
Nancy Pelosi called Chavez a "thug." Why? Because he chooses to use his nation's natural resources to specifically benefit as many of his countrymen as possible? Because he helps out thousands of Americans as well with natural gas in winter while American oil companies are registering massive unprecedented profits? Because unlike America's national politicians, Chavez enjoys a 75% APPROVAL rating, not the other way around?
Chavez was speaking in Harlem today. Does this sound like a thug?
"Every day I ask God, and the sooner the better, for the American people to elect a president who you can talk with, who you can work with, who you can talk with face-to-face as a brother and see each other as equals. Not this gentleman who walks like John Wayne."
Sure, Chavez expresses admiration for Robert Mugabe--and this might well disqualify him outright as a sound critic of geo-politics, let alone as an increasingly major player. But despite this lapse he's actually an honest, sane, and ballsy world leader in a time when such men are sadly missing in action.

Nick,
~sigh~
If I was your neighbor, would we get along? I mean, is there anybody here that you suspect you could live next to, where they didn't hit you upside the head with a wrench? If I was sitting in my lawn chair would you be spewing all these wakey wake, cabal, Chenron shit all the time?
Has your telephone ever rang where a friend (I know, play along) invited you to a ball game and some beers? If your work held a banquet and you arrived first, would people actually sit down at your table if other seats were available?
If you say yes to any of those questions, then either you're lying or you've been trolling these boards for a long time with the same mantra.

RACKY RACK the old guy. Again.
I'm sorry. The Latin American nations are suffering from a leftist imbecile epidemic. From Albert Arnold Lopez Obrador, to Evo "Cocaine's A Hell Of A Drug" Morales (incidentally, dude should probably either shoot his barber or at least get him to recut his hair so he looks less like an erect penis) to Hugo "Señor Sulfur" Chavez (know your role, shut your hole, and keep the oil flowing, little man) to the old guy in Havana, whoever he may be (has any impartial observer actually seen the Beard lately? I mean in person, alive, breathing and talking?). And I'm sure there are a few others, but they're at least smart enough not to draw attention to themselves. I mean, rarely have I seen so many heads of state in such dire need of offing their shit selves.

Jihad is hump of Islam...and Islam wants to hump us very much.
Venezuela will be importing ALL of the food it needs within 3 years- just like Rhodesia did when Mugabe instituted "land reform", and South Africa, and... Oh, pleeeeeze, Bwana, come back and make the Coca-Cola machine work again!

I live in San Francisco, Luth, and EVERYONE here hates the Chimp and Chenron. And as for having beers with the team--yep, regularly. Interestingly, most people really don't talk politics--or seem to have a real interest. At banquets, parties and weddings, I certainly don't lead with politics at all. What, don't you think I can discuss a variety of subjects with humor--and moreover, skillfully bring others into the conversation?
As for Wakey Wake, well, the Chimp's numbers right now are lower than Nixon's during Watergate. I think people are Wakey Waking, don't you?
So you think Chavez is a bum? A thug dictator who is also insane?
Why? Name something he's done that's killed thousands of innocent people (like Chimp 'n'Cheney).
Name something he's said that's not accurate. Sure, his manner is that of a stand-up comedian, and this really does tend to undermine the hard truth of his indictments, but so what? He's telling the truth about the Chimp--and what he's said is only a crude bare outline of the sheer criminality and vileness of the unelected fascist cabal known here, anyways, as Chenron.
(and btw, if you were my next-door neighbor, I'd probably be gently reminding you to tell the pimp-daddy thug-types that seem to visit your house each night to keep it down when they're done "partying" with your significant other--I suppose that's what's happening, all I hear is "Sheeeit, bro, fuckin' doughboy gonna PAY me an' shit to fuckin' WATCH as I pound that shit right through the bed!")
Neely, you're dead wrong about Chavez cracking down on opposition. Remeber, after the U.S. sponsored coup attempt a few years ago, Chavez was reinstated by the outright demand of the huge majority of Venezualans. The opposition parties are currently working on their campaign for the upcoming elections.
RACK CHAVEZ FOR SAYING WHAT WE'RE ALL THINKING!!
Babs, the Chimp is currently the most despised U.S. president in history. And it's getting a lot worse. (But c'mon, give us a laugh--who are you assuming still supports the Chimp?)
What you really need is to read some Noam Chomsky.
I dare you to attempt to dispute (or smear, as is your Limpdickian style) ANY SPECIFIC position of Chomsky--on ANY SPECIFIC subject.
Wakey wake!

And, babs, I don't mean merely despised at home, I mean around the world.
Name ONE prominent or respectable world figure who actually likes or genuinely respects the Chimp (and Olmert doen't count).
Name ONE segment of the U.S. population--outside the Limpdick ditto-head space--who still supports him.
And WHICH Chomsky subject do you dare to challenge? Or are you just a fake lil' prick?

I won't get into specifics, since it's like real life and stuff, but I have a friend who is looking at an outside chance of being able to work it to the tune of a quarter-billion-dollars...and that's just his cut.Dr_Phibes wrote:So what are your thoughts on the Venezuelan land reform project?

You don't even know what the programme is, do you?
6,000 hectares of unused state owned arable land has been distributed to landless poor as the oil industry drew a disproportionate amount of labour from agriculture. Nothing more, nothing less.
This is an efficient and productive manner of land use - and has been a resounding success.
Your friend has an over-active imagination, Atomic Dinsdale.

it hasn't totally failed, but it hasn't fully succeeded yet, either. Chavez had only redistributed unused government owned land up until recently (something like 2 million hectares through 2004), but after that he decided to go after big landowners who have supposedly illegally acquired some of their land, reqquiring them to prove ownership or lose it.
That is where the problem lies, since the big landowners are fighting back using violence and murder thru hired guns.

100% accurate. Chomsky's views on political science are completely without academic merit and are accorded zero respect outside of those who are steeped in anti-American bullshit.mvscal wrote:Outside of linguistics, Chumpsky is gibbering, grade A mouthbreather.

Chavez is speaking out both sides of his mouth. He started to clamp down a couple of years ago on his own people when he had a political challenge at home. So now he's trying to make his point outside his country. He needs to allow more freedom at home before he becomes credible in something like offering gas to low income New Yorkers. Give me a fucking break!
In the agricultural world, you may be surprised how many people keep up with this stuff. Even in my little world of the community college, we have relations with South American and Central American countries and our faculty take trips there and have people come here to visit. Venezuela is a wonderful place agriculturally, but it ain't gonna happen anytime soon. Chavez has a goldmine there and thinks it is his goldmine, instead of his people's goldmine. He has an incredible country at his feet to work with and do good things, but his choice is to put all his good people down and focus on being a total asshole on the world stage.
He's a sham in the worst of ways, and is only important in the world scheme because he has some oil to barter.

There are about a dozen people with the exception of Bushice complaining about a 'dictator' stomping on peoples rights, the co-operative farm initiative is a failure - and not a single specific reason or example as to why.

Bring it, titter, show exactly what you've got concerning Chomsky's take on the horrific destruction of Viet Nam and Cambodia by the cozy weird couple of Henry and Dick.
What flaming poop-bag stunt are you running from?
What the fuck is there to dispute?
If there's one thing Chomsky has proven over the years it's that he doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about- whatever he's talking about.
He's one of those types, beloved of the left, who gains expert status on the basis of always being wrong, and his status is enhanced by never being right.

Cuda, yer a hollow little prick, and your attempt to dismiss Chomshy is fake.
Bring it, bitch. Actually state one Chomsky's standard topics (do I need to roll them out--do you really not know anything of what's going on?).

Because if you can't or won't, that's the same as a quiet, humbled surrender. Which is obviously your proper style.
