While this is intended to be a fun contest, the rules are a bit anal in nature in order to streamline the scoring process.
Below is an example of the only acceptable format for the picks (sans quote tags, of course). In the first line, you have your name and current bankroll (you'll find this listed in the results each week). Then, pick the five games, listing only your winner and the amount wagered in parentheses. Finally, add up your wager amounts and include it at the bottom. Make sure this figure isn't greater than your original amount. PLEASE stick to this format and nothing else, and don't forget to uncheck your sig picks in this thread. All picks are due each week 30 minutes before the start of the first game. I'll be a bit lenient the first week while everyone gets used to the format, but I won't rule out fines to your bankroll if you make a mistake the following week and don't correct it prior to the lock.
If you go bankrupt, you're not out of the contest. Instead, you will be issued an additional loan for the following week; however, you'll still be on the hook for the original $100 (or whatever amount you've lost up to that point), and that fee will accumulate 10% interest each week until you've squared up to the original $100 loan. The official contest entry example wrote:orcinus ($100)
Green Bay ($5)
Miami ($10)
Philadelphia ($20)
Arizona ($2)
New Orleans ($5)
Total Wager ($42)
Again ... please follow the format above and leave out the signatures in the contest thread. If you have questions, please post them to the signup thread and not this one (they'll be deleted).
