Texas vs. ISU

Post by minorthreat »

I went to Austin to see the game. Even though Texas took it to us in the 2nd half, I have to give Texas fans props. We were treated great. Tons of class by Texas and their fans. Thank you.

Made me want to come down again. That's is how you do it...Iowa and Nebraska.

Are you implying you weren't treated well in Nebraska? ;)

I took my 3 year old son to his first Texas game. He loved it. I had a guy from Iowa State sitting right behind me and he was pretty cool. He couldn't believe how big the stadium was. He told us that Iowa State had a tough time getting 30K to watch the team. Great atmosphere for the game. The weather delay sucked. 3 year olds can only watch so much football before they are ready to go.

I thought that Bret Meyer was tough. That guy got hit and hit and hit and got up every time. Dude probably needed some advil on Sunday.

Actually, I should take that back about Nebraska. Last year in Lincoln we were treated pretty good as well. A few didn't like us but that may have had to do with the fact we were wearing ISU shirts that said "The New Big Red".
