W is a fuckup of monumental proportions. His/their carte blanche policy of "We'll just keep telling the people 'BECAUSE I SAID SO,' so then when we really get caught lying and stealing money, they'll be used to our "well, we could tell you, but then we'd have to kill you' attitude" has done nothing but prove W to be The Great Divider.

Now, he's decided that formerly "super-secret-the-terrorists-have-won-if-the-public-knows-what's-in-these-documents" documents weren't so top-secret after all, or at least not now that he thinks they'll put him in a more positive light, and help in the mid-terms.

What he thinks is going to be helpful to his cause, is actually just another admission that he;s lied to the American People, once again.

Yet he wonders why people doubt his every word and his every move...

And don't you think that the rallying point of such a natural reaction to foreign invaders would be the "People's Cause" or whatever the locals choose to call themselves?

It's as obvious as ANY resistance to vicious and illegal aggression.

The vast majority of ALL iraqis want the U.S. OUT NOW.

We're not fighting an organized army, sponsored by a nation state, but an idea, fueled by others who are "martyred."

Until we start to shut down the madrasses, everywhere, we're not going to make much of a dent in the global "war," being in Iraq or not.

Iraq is a stage, not a "final battle" or some shit, despite the prayers of the Christian fundie freaks in this country, who can't wait for the world to burn so we can just all see Jesus again.

We're fighting on stage in Iraq, instead of moving to shut down the madrasses, at least publically.

Funny how I don't hear any idiots claiming that killing US troops spawns more US troops. Military forces replace their losses until they are no longer able to do so. This is not a new or recent development in military history.
