Looks like he might have taken a page out of Gerry Studd’s book. Hope this doesn't get blown out of proportion.

Who said anything but fair?
Personally I prefer to be in a party that doesn't make excuses or resort to conspiracy theories over shit like this than one that says perjury and obstruction of justice is 'just a blowjob' and ignores their leaders peddling military technology to the PRC for illegal campaign funds.
The fact is, if he would be on the ballot in November, he would lose. If he was a Dem, that isn't nessecarily so.

Seems to me that Monica Lewnisky was what they call a "consenting adult" when she was polishing the first knob.Diogenes wrote:Who said anything but fair?

This Congressman was trading explicit messages with minor children.
While I wouldn't expect you to acknowldege or even see that there's a big difference between the two,
most people with at least half a brain and an grain of integrity would realize that they are several orders of maginitude
difference severity of the offenses.

That's too bad. We need good Republicans like Mark Foley to keep the radical homo pedophile agenda out of the lives of everyday Americans. This Internet thing has only made it easier for these freaks to prey on our youth. Thank God the Republicans are standing up for our values.
So why's he retiring, anyway?

Knowing but turning a blind eye?Today's WaPo wrote:House Majority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) told The Washington Post last night that he had learned this spring of some "contact" between Foley and a 16-year-old page. Boehner said he told House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.), and that Hastert assured him "we're taking care of it.".
Good luck with that "values" agenda this month.
