Locks of the week....
Here you go, it's that time of the week again for my picks.....
Killian mentioned earlier in the week that I'm 4-14 ATS so far on this board (although I believe I've made more picks on here than that, but I digress)...
Call up your bookies because I've got some locks for you!
1.Oklahoma -5 over Tejas
Revenge factor and Adrian Peterson are both on OU's side. Mack still has not proven he can win a big game without Vince. I think OU comes in pissed off and takes Texas out to the woodshed. Sooners 27 Horns 17.
2.Auburn -15.5 over Arkansas
Irons runs free. Arkansas won't be able to score. True freshman QB against Auburn D = beatdown. Tigers 41 Hogs 10.
3.Georgia Tech -13.5 over Maryland
Calvin Johnson will rip Maryland a new a-hole even though Reggie Ball fucking blows. Tech 30 Twerps 9.
4.Nebraska -7 over Iowa State
If you don't live in Iowa, you haven't had the chance to see first hand just how bad ISU is. Well, you'll see on Saturday night on ABC. Big Red 34 Little Red 14.
5.Indiana +7.5 over Illinois
Zook doesn't know how to win, so he's not used to coaching a game coming off a W. Illinois has letdown and gets upset by a pathetic Indiana team. Hoosiers 17 Illini 14.
6.Colorado -4.5 over Baylor
Buffs are getting better (which doesn't say a lot), and they know this is the game they should finally get over the hump in. Baylor is bad, and they're on the road. I'll take CU 23 Baylor 9.
7.Michigan -15.5 over Michigan State
Forget history, this year is different. Michigan will take this game more serious than normal and John L Smith lost his team in the 4th quarter of the Notre Dame game. Michigan is better in every facet of the game and will ass rape Sparty. I say scUM 45 State 7.
8.California -5 over Oregon
Oregon is not good enough to stay unbeaten and Cal has more talent anyways, not to mention they are at home. Cal scores at will against the Oregon D that is not really all that good. Cal 34 Oregon 20.
9.Louisville -33 over Middle Tennessee St
Big spread for a team without their starting QB and RB, unless that team happens to be playing Middle Tennessee St. Cards win 52-7.

Re: Locks of the week....
I was ever so slightly nervous about tomorrow...
Until now.
Yeah, buddy. I'm digging the "Oregon won't stay unbeaten" thing.
Hmmm....
So far, Oregon has given up less points per game, WAYYYYYYYY less yards per game, less rushing yards per game, and about half as many passing yards per game. And they haven't even played Portland State yet(although Portland State would roll Stanford, so call it a wash). Heck, and Cal even played an SEC team, which should drop your yards per game average by about 50%.
But apart from those silly little facts, your analysis is spot-on.
Once again --
Oregon = Much better offense
Oregon = MUCH better defense
Cal = Home field
Even M2 casting a +14 Invincibility Potion can't counteract the Jon of Death. Maybe the admins need to password-protect these threads, because if the general public gets ahold of this shit, the sportsbook industry in this country will come to an end as we know it.
I do feel kinda bad for Soonerfan, though...having their big rivalry game decided beforehand.
Until now.

I had a 4-team parlay on the early games this morning. Anyone care to guess which one isn't covering? :x
Jon,
Do you think you could post your "locks" a little earlier in the week so we can all bet accordingly? Oh, and thanks for cursing the Buffs, too. You must have picked this week in my Meltdown Pick 'em thread...

I fucking give up....from now on I'm posting all my picks.
Shit, I go 4-5 in a week I went 19-14-1 ATS. In my pick 6 league, I fucking go 2-4. Unreal. Every week I pick every game that involves at least 1 major conference team and I'm 99-76-5 ATS. But in my Pick 6 league I'm a pathetic 17-19 and 7 games off the lead. Pisses me off.
Next week, i'm giving you all my entire list of picks. That way I can't get fucked over by only picking a few games that I happen to lose.
