I'm pissed that after Saturday the Oil dont play until Thursday. You CANNOT start a season with back to back games against Cowtown and then leave me high and dry for 5 fucking days!!!!

I dont think the Thursday game against SJ is even on PPV.

Tigers-Yankees Game 4 and Michigan-Michigan State on this afternoon...and you're pining for early season hockey? I'm glad all of the action is at night so I can watch the big games this afternoon.

They have to that so that we have time to rub it in cowtowns face when we start the season 2-0

Whoops.

5 days to stew over that loss will be tough to take.

I fervently despise the Wolverines and the Tigers game was a blowout.

These are dark times for Spartans football BTW. Dark, dark times.

Must suck to be LionFan and SpartanFan during the fall. At least we've got the Wings and now, the Tigers. This is shaping up to be a great autumn between Michigan being unbeaten, the Tigers in the ALCS and the Wings kicking off the season. As much as I like seeing the Spartans receive another beating...upsetting the Yankees and triggering probably their most drastic offseason moves in recent years is something I'll take great pride in. Joe Torre is getting fired because of the Tigers. Games 3 and 4 rank up there with Games 6 and 7 against the Avs in '01-02 with the back-to-back shutouts and chasing Roy in the second period of Game 7.

For 5 days I will be consoling myself with the fact that at some point Kipper will get hurt and you guys will be in the toilet where you belong. Why bother dressing half your guys when they don't play worth a shit and you know that your goalie with be stoping atoms whizzing by? The Flames play lazy, shit-ass D knowing their goaltender is a freaking god. If I was Kipper I'd kick their fucking asses.

Whatever makes you feel better, Greaseballfan.

I'm perfectly happy with the way most of our guys played. Sure they only scored 2 goals, but I'll at least give the Oilers some credit: they are applying that trap they learned last spring very well, and Roloson is still playing over his head.

And remember, it's lazy, shit-ass D that WINS THEM GAMES!! Lots of games! But they still managed to outshoot the Oilers 28-3 according to the box score...

Anyway, at some point the Flames will get past their confidence issues and start scoring goals, and then what will the Oiler fans have to console themselves?
