Remember folks, the 2nd Amendent does not allow you to own firearms. That is your inalienable right.

The 2nd protects your inalienable right to own a firearm.
Rights are not dispensed by your government. Under your Constitution, you are born with them.

The Constitution protects you against any malfeasance of government or others.

It's a sad day when a Canadian has to remind you how important the Constitution (you want to throw away) is.

NORWALK, Connecticut (CNN) - A Connecticut jury Friday convicted Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel of bludgeoning his 15-year-old neighbor Martha Moxley to death with a golf club more than 26 years ago.

The jury of six men and six women reached the verdict in its fourth day of deliberations. When the verdict was announced Skakel stood frozen; Moxley's mother and brother wept.

The case caught the public attention because of the prominence of the Kennedy family, the fact prosecutors had to use a murder charge because it has no statute of limitations, and the determination of Moxley mother, Dorthy, who dogged Skakel for the past 26 years.

Skakel, 41, whose aunt is Ethel Skakel Kennedy, widow of the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, could be sentenced to as few as 10 years or as many as 25 years to life in prison. A sentencing hearing will be held July 19. District Attorney Jonathan Benedict said he would talk with the Moxley family before deciding on what sentence to ask for.

Douglas County Attorney Stu Dornan has filed a Second-Degree Murder charge against 19-year-old Christopher Edwards. Prosecutors claim he killed Jessica O’Grady with a sword.

Edwards was arrested last week.

During a news conference Monday afternoon, Dornan said investigators believe that Ms. O’Grady was killed with a Bangkok battle sword, similar to those pictured on the right. It’s a weapon that is 26 inches long with a 19 inch blade. Dornan says the death was intentional. (WOWT)

Mom Accused of Swinging Baby As Weapon

ERIE, Pa. - A woman used her 4-week-old baby as a weapon in a domestic dispute, swinging the infant through the air and striking her boyfriend with the child, authorities said.

The boy was in serious but stable condition Monday at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, police said.

Chytoria Graham, 27, of Erie, was charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and simple assault. She was held Monday in the Erie County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail.

The infant, whose name was not released, suffered a fractured skull and some bleeding in the brain, authorities said. His head hit Graham's boyfriend, the baby's father, police Lt. Dan Spizarny said.
