What is it about a team having a quality backup that you don't fucking understand?Felix wrote:the way I figure it, if the seaslugs lose Hasslebeck that would pretty much guarantee them a Number 1 or 2 ranking on B's list........

I would have been more impressed had the Steelers not gift wrapped those last two TDs for them. Hey, it's not like I'm saying the Steelers belong in that list AHEAD of the Bengals.it's just the conspicuous absence of Cincy in your poll is pretty glaring....

No, it's more like I saw them play and wasn't overly impressed by either team. At least not impressed enough to call either team a top 5 team. Follow that up with the loss of their #1 tackler and the certain loss of Chris Henry and I'm even less impressed.Felix wrote:doh.......it's the old "if my team hadn't done this, that wouldn't have happened" syndrome......BSmack wrote: I would have been more impressed had the Steelers not gift wrapped those last two TDs for them. But hey, I'm sure you saw the game.
Right?

Good teams don't turn the ball over 5 times. The defending Super Bowl champs did just that and Cincy capitalized with 2- 4th quarter tds. You do that against a defense like the Steelers, IN THE 4th QUARTER, I'd say that makes you a pretty good team.BSmack wrote:No, it's more like I saw them play and wasn't overly impressed by either team. Did you see the game? Those "drives" both started inside the Steelers 20 yard line. Again, I'm not saying the Steelers are better than the Bengals. I'm saying the Vikings are better than the Bengals.jiminphilly wrote:Good teams don't turn the ball over 5 times. 4. Atlanta - Too much Karma in New Orleans - But still class of the NFC South
5. Patriots - Won't be here for long but impressive in Cincy
28. Miami - Props for Getting Houston off the list. Saban is my # 1 choice for first massive coronary
29. Detroit - How long till Millen disappears like Jimmy Hoffa
30. Tampa - congrats on that meteroic decent. Sorry but with a rook QB I see Many L's in the immediate future
31. Tennessee - Really bad and getting worse.
32. Oakland - Damn.... Not even the Browns at home? OK I know pity the Raider fans on T1B

Because I've seen all 3 teams play and the Saints look better than either Cincy or NE at this time. This ain't the BCS, I'm just ranking who I think the best teams are at this moment.poptart wrote:New Orleans ... ?
Their schedule has been relatively soft, Bri.
How do you figure them ahead of Cincy or NE ... ?

If this is anything other than a weak attempt a trolling you should retire.
Who have the Bears played ?
Three time Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots
They have played Seattle and they demolished them. Denver has a great defense. So do the Bears. The Broncos offense has been less than impressive. The only game they showed some sort of offense was against the depleted Patriots secondary. The Bears offense has been outstanding. The Bears didn't make their schedule. They've just played who's been put in front of them. They've destroyed them all too. Denver got beat by the Rams and barely escaped KC (a team you list in your bottom 5 with a back up QB in his first start) at home. I think you could maybe make an argument for Denver at #2.upstart wrote:Are you telling me the Bears are better then Denver ?Nixhex wrote:Tardupstart wrote:1) Denver
