20 years ago, Branson was still "quaint".
Now, it's a tourist trap with waay too much traffic.
Still a very nice place to take the kids, if you're in to that sort of thing.

I wouldn't come within 30 miles of that place with Toddowen's dick.
Funny thing is, the cool lesbian chicks I work with went on a vacation there and had a "great" time ... bargain shopping.
They didn't see any of the cheesebag shows or any of the touristy crap, but found a bunch of good deals in antique stores and shops, or so they said. :?
Never been. Wouldn't like to find out.
Seer, you might like it.
Btw, Wolfman, Estrada pimps for the area outside of Bentonville, Arkansas, not Missouri, though it's probably not outside of an hour's drive from the abortion that is Branson.

Imagine Dante's 7th ring of hell.
Bumper to bumper traffic with blue hairs driving Winnebagos ahead of you.
Theatres full of has been and never were country singers.
Humidity the likes of which makes Houston seem arid.
And lots of "folks" selling T shirts, hand carved doll house furniture and corn cob pipes.
Other than that, it's swell.

I would totally rack RF for this post, and claim that he stole it from me, but he left out a few details......
If you were to add up every single stereotype you have for anyone that lives in the Mid-west, add 10" to their wastelines, subtract $200.00 from their welfare checks, and add in 5 more shirtless, shoeless, bowl hair-cutted, toothless brats, per family, you would still over look the saggy titted, hairy mole, too damn short shorts, and short shirts wearing, pasty ass, cankled, un-wed pigs, that have some how convinced the male figure in the trailor, that visiting Branson would be a good idea.
I've never been to North Korea either, Wags, which to me, seems a hell of a lot more "fun" than that place.War Wagon wrote:Then...RadioFan wrote: Never been.
Son, do you see the error of your ways?...the abortion that is Branson.
Branson. Are you fucking kidding me?
Let me guess ... You've actually seen Buck Owens and the Buckaroos there and thought you were in Nirvana?
Or was it the Del Rubio sisters with your parents, when it was "quaint?"
Fuck off, dipshit.
Rack kcdave.

I would have loved to have seen Buck Owens. But I feel like I wouldn't much care for Branson. I hate tourist traps of all stripes not named Niagara Falls.RadioFan wrote:Let me guess ... You've actually seen Buck Owens and the Buckaroos there and thought you were in Nirvana?

Umm, no. I don't like country music. Buck Owens could certainly play the guitar though.
Like I said, it's a cool place to take a family with kids.
One of the coolest Go-Kart tracks you'll find anywhere, nice water parks, helicopter rides over the dam at Table Rock lake, Silver Dollar City where Marvel cave is by itself worth the price of admission, trout fishing in Lake Taneycomo... all surrounded by beautiful Ozark scenery.
No 'tard, I'm not kidding you.
Nice analogy with North Korea, though.
Just go ahead and wallow in your pre-conceived ignorant notions. It suits you perfectly.
