DVD Decryptor Errors When Burning

Post by indyfrisco »

Lately, I am getting many errors on DVDs I try to burn. Here is the error:

I am getting it when using DVD Decryptor to copy the disc to my hard drive. Seems every 3-4 DVDs is getting this now. I know DVD Decryptor is somewhat dated and is no longer in development, as far as I know. Is there some kind of update that anyone is aware of? I am using version 3.5.4.0. If not, what could be a replacement? Seems the movie industry is trying new things to keep me from stealing their shit.

Oh, and it only happens on discs when this popup occurs when I insert the disc and open DVD decryptor.

HIGHLY likely.

In the meanwhile, this looks interesting...

DVD Decrypter is no longer being developed so it obviously isn't keeping up with new forms of copy protection. I rarely copy DVDs anymore, so I don't know what the best ripper is, but last I heard DVDFab Decrypter was taking over where it left off.
