what he ruled was that if you installed spyware and were caught the info obtained could not be admissable in court.
however if you can let vengeance override emotion it doesn't say that info obtained cannot be exploited in other manners as long as there is no admission of guilt and no trace of the spyware is to be found.
in other words,freak daddy and the semen slurper arrange for a quaint dinner on the other side of town and lo and behold,you and your best friend just happed to be there!
