My friend called me at 9:55 AM the day the tickets went on sale and asked if I wanted to go. I was hesitant to say yes right on the spot, but told him to go ahead and snag me one if he was lucky enough to.
Him, and about ten other guys in his office were on the internet at 10 AM, and they all struck out.

RACKs to you Steve...enjoy!
I'm waiting to see what Leyland's rotation will be for the series...who will throw in Game 1 and 2. I'm obviously curious about Game 1 since I'll be going. I'd imagine the Mets could throw Glavine on Saturday and the Cardinals could start Weaver. The Mets and Cards don't nearly have the luxury the Tigers have with 4 quality starters with no clear cut #1. I'm rooting for them to start Rogers in Game 1 and Bonderman in Game 2. Get them off to a strong start and take some pressure off Robertson and Verlander when they start on the road. Also, I wonder if Leyland will lean towards throwing pitchers in Game 3 and 4 who can handle the bat better. Who knows...it could still depend on who they will actually play.
