Wisconsin comes in at number 8. We would be in the top three except for the fact that Fraudo lives here. Sissyroo drags Florida down to number 29, but you’ll have to go further down the list to find the U&L.

One of the indicators was the ability to correctly spell the state VERMONT.

Since Oregon and Washington have finished at #1 and #2 in SAT and ACT scores for...oh, say the last couple of decades, I'd say the methodolgy of this list might be in question.
Then again, Oregon does have the people in Timmayland dragging us down, just as Washington has Trampisland keeping their scores low.

^^^^ Can't be the Timmayside -- the grass is green, and flora appears to be growing.

6. Virginia Change = 1
47. California Change = -1
In the past year, I relocated from the state that ranks #47 to the state that comes in at #6. The gaining state shows a net increase of 1, while the losing state shows the same net decrease. Coincidence? I think not.

Low 50's when I walked outside this AM.

Making different from any other time of the year...
how ? Oh wait, it's only a 45 degree daily swing the other times of year. I experiened a 60+ degree swing out your way a few years back...OK, it was up at East Lake. How the hell do you dress for 35 in the morning, and 100 in the afternoon...that is, before that afternoon thunderstorms start?
You can keep that shit.

The methodology has gotta be flawed, then, since they're all blue states.

Considering that seven of the top ten states were blue and eight of the bottom ten states were red, your premise would appear to be just a tad flawed.

Kansas is #13??? WTF??
This is a state that wanted to teach intelligent design in science class while redefining what science was, and downplaying evolution.
Now that's smarts.

Sorry, I've seen who Vermont elects to high office. I call bullshit.
