I really doubt there are any states lacking in white trash. White trash are about the most wide spread population there is. A better question would be which are the 5 least inflicted states. My choices are....
1. Alaska Not many people period. Tough place to survive and you can't wear the wife beater/watershoe PWT uniform for more than a few weks a year. Also, '83 monte carlos with bald tires don't fair well in the snow.
2. CT. PWT have pretty much been run out by the PRs and mvscals. Most remaining white folk are middleclass or higher.
3.Vermont A few farmers, ski bums, dork snorkling B&B owners and rich snob new yorkers. There are a few WT way up north on the canuck border.
4. Utah? Are there PWT mormons? Never heard of 'em.
5. Rhode Island Not much of anything, there. Even us CTres run small state smack on them.

I've only been to a handful of states. Nevada is one of them (since it's a neighboring state, and all). The Assassin wrote:Nevada is HIGHLY underrated when it comes to white trash and trailor parks.
And damn...if you're not in Vegas or Reno...egads. Probably more Dirty Drunken Injuns than PWTs, but...just wow. But there's a reason that nobody cares that they drop prototype bombs and stuff all over the state...they can't fuck it up any worse.
I was wondering when that was going to come up. Rednecks, many...teeth, few.Believe the Heupel wrote:And apparently you've never been to Oregon and Washington East of the Cascades.
I've never been to Alaska. But, if you want to meet Alaskans, you don't need to go to Alaska -- you just need to be in Oregon or Washington, and they'll come to you. Or, as my good buddy and his brother, who grew up in Alaska put it "At some point in an Alaskan's life, it comes time to leave Alaska for one reason or another. Travel from Alaska usually involves going to or through Seattle or Portland. Alaskans get to these cities, and say 'wow, it's just like Alaska, only warmer' ."smackaholic wrote:Alaska
And my buddies tell the story of being small children in the poor family, and asking the question "so Dad, what are we having for dinner?"
Dad grabs a rifle, and says "the next thing that walks past that door, boys."
Yeah, no white trash there...
Honorable mention for any city in California that isn't on the coast. I don't think easterners realize what a bastion of redneckism non-coastal California is.

I was born in Kentucky and left a fews years back. I moved to North Carolina (beautiful state) and shitty Indiana (nothing but corn fields and bad snow in the winters). Anywho, I'm back in Kentucky and I love it. People are pretty friendly.e wrote:double that. i lived in kentucky for the longest eight months of my life. i made one good friend but left there 10 years ago and haven't been back.
Where were you in KY? I live in Northeastern KY currently.
Arkansas..............The suburbs of Little Rock, Ft Smith, Ozarks? ding ding..winner
Nevada... as Dins said... see Fallon or Hawthorne
Idaho... a land of doublewides...see Cour de Alene, Post Falls, Sandpoint et. all. This is where FEMA will unload all the surplus trailers after the Arkainsawz Rednecks grab the ones with the least damage.
Indiana... take any exit off I-70 that isn't in Indianapolis..nuff said
Kentucky... they pride themselves on being rednecks...whatever

Fallon...ohhhh, Fallon. I'll never forget Fallon. You don't want to run out of gas miles short of Fallon at 2AM.
The Assassin wrote:As far as NV is concerned, you'll get a mighty good laugh when you are driving on a lonely road in the desert and then right in the middle of said desert you'll see 4 run down trailor parks and a rusty painted over school bus just sitting there.
Let's not leave out the funniest part -- one of those traliers will be adorned with a bunch of neon lights, to indicate that it's a working brothel. And for those that have never driven through Nevada -- no, that's no joke. More brothels-in-trailers open at night than gas stations.

I'm not sure Florida should be in the Top 5.* I AM sure Tennessee should be up there.
*Definitely in the top 10, though.

I mean, I don't know that you can really call more mobile homes an "advantage," but you get what I'm saying.

America’s Homes, Sweet Homes
Number of Mobile Homes Nears 9 Million; Those in California
and Hawaii Most Crowded, Census Bureau Reports
The number of mobile homes in the country increased strikingly since 1950, going from just over 300,000 to nearly 8.8 million in 2000 — an increase of about 2,700 percent, according to a new analysis of Census 2000 results released today by the U.S. Census Bureau.
(See Chart 1.)
The report, Structural and Occupancy Characteristics of Housing: 2000 [pdf 879kb], said South Carolina and New Mexico had the highest proportion of mobile homes, about 1-in-5. Florida was the numerical leader with more than 800,000, followed by Texas at more than 700,000.

Well just because someone lives in a mobile home doesn't mean they are white trash. Maybe it's a non-trashy person that's just on a tight budget. Maybe they like the look of mobility. Maybe buying a real home or condo is too much of a commitment for them. Mayyyybe they don't need a lot of space and are smart and save their money. Perhaps they want to live on the edge. Maybe they like evacuating during hurricane season. Maybe they just feel like living in seclusion in the woods away fron suburbia and normal society. Huh? What's so wrong with that?!?

I owned a 3200 sq ft home in Houston... and I'll never do it again!
Fuck being a slave to property.

Thge South doesn't have a monopoly.............WHITE TRASH IS UNIVERSAL. I've been to every state (and lived in a lot of them) except Hawaii and Alaska and seen some of the gnarliest dirt bags in Minnesota/Wisconsin/Pennsylvania/Oregon/Illinois/New Mexico/California/etc. The only thing different about Southern white trash is the drawl. Stupidity, poor fashion, incest, bad teeth, questionable hair styles, poorly maintained homes and vehicles, teen pregnancy, the list goes on...............happen everywhere.
Re: Top 5 "White Trash" States?
The trash you see has more of a brown hue. Not that theres anything wrong with that.Believe the Heupel wrote:

Bad spelling is a diversionary tactic
Why be a slave to property when you can move to the most expensive city in the country and rent a place that crackheads would not even live in? A shithole of a place (remember we've seen the pics) that costs you twice the cash (and no equity) that your supposed 3200 sqft home in Houston did. That's a brilliant move in a lifetime of rock solid decisions on your part, mdouche. How you have unfortunately avoided Darwin's wrath is beyond me.montinelevin wrote:Get's it!!!patsy stone wrote:Well just because someone lives in a mobile home doesn't mean they are white trash.
