In case you didn't read the whole thing, there were a lot of scared women after Cara Knott was found dead. The local NBC station sent a reporter to do a ride-along with a CHP officer & do a story to put the public at ease. The officer that the reporter was assigned to was Peyer. Cara's scratching can be seen on his face in the video (which also helped lead to his conviction).
