Just wanted to be the first to say it: O State was FLATLINING tonight at Nebraska. Fortunately, I had to finish a project at work and could only listen on radio for the first 2/3 of the game and didn't have to witness all the turnovers and listless offense on TV. Got home to see the last 10 minutes and it looked exactly the same as it had sounded.
The same offense where everyone has been in the right place at the right time and moving the ball well for most of the season was just standing around looking confused, missing assignments, or complaining when they had to make a cheap foul to make up for a mistake. And on defense...I saw at least 3 Huskers who were totally left alone in confused defensive efforts to get a pass for an easy lay-up, just in the final 10 minutes that I got home to watch.
Everyone has a bad game from time to time, but that bad?
The Big 12 race is a whole lot more interesting about now.
Well, that was pathetic

OSU sucks and they won't make it past the second round of the tourney.
Sincerely,
Tards who post in here and base their takes on a single game.
I didn't get to see tonight's game, but OSU always seems to struggle at Nebraska. Their radio guys were saying the game wasn't going to be easy during the post-game show after the TT win on Saturday.
I think when the season got cranked up, everybody in the conference was eying Sunday's game. Now it may determine the conference championship. Should be another great one, at least on paper. Btw, it looks like CBS is showing the game, so we've now entered the official time in the season in which those fucking asshats Jim Nance and Billy Packer get muted and the radio comes on.

I'm still holding out hope for Sunday at KU. After the Suttons chew some Poke ass for a few days, I still think we can assume they will rediscover the idea of "playing with intensity". :)
The tiebreaker scenario is interesting, and as you said it is definitely the cart before the horse. I'm just not sure how you came up with the idea that OU would own a tiebreaker, since OU and OSU split in conference play.

Radiofan,
You got the Nebraska thing right. I have no idea why, but OSU always has a hard time with them. They struggle for wins at Nebraska (but usually do), and the Huskers took it to overtime at GIA last year.
I hear ya on the radio thing. On nationally televised games, I like to just get an idea of how they are calling it, but sometimes it is so bad for conversation instead of game calling (and getting names wrong) that I just switch to the radio while watching the game.
Glad I don't have any plans for Sunday afternoon. I need to sit down and see this team wake up and play like they have been doing before tonight!

Heup,
Thanks for the clarification. I was thinking that it had to include OSU losing this weekend, or getting some losses to the Texas teams coming up.
After the past week, who knows? Gotta love the Big 12. All the coaches say, it's so close they can all have a chance in any given game. Every single team with a shot at it better be playing their best game in the closing part of the season.

Nance and Packer are the absolute worst. I simply can not listen to those two idiots without wanting them to die in a plane crash, seriously. But I may save my rant about that come tournament time.
The multiple scenarios should make for a great regular-season conference finish this year, and may produce some interesting matchups by the 2nd round of the Big 12 tournament.
