Do they riot in Detroit win or lose?
I know they do when one of the teams wins. What about if they lose?
I guess we'll find out in about five minutes.

I love U-ston!
I was talking about the 22 in.'s of rain last week.
Are you not entertained?

If you don't like it, don't watch it...simple concept. Not to sound like Tommy Lasorda in those commercials but if you're a real baseball fan, you'd watch the World Series no matter what. None of us have any control over how the season turns out so complain to someone who actually can do something about it. The beauty of the baseball playoffs is that really anything can happen. Just gotta have an open mind and not be a matchup snob.

In sports, in general, parity = a better product.
Dynasties are an indicator that the talent gap is too large. The larger the talent gap, the more watered down the competition will be, and I think we all want to see competitive games, especially in the playoffs. And I say "everybody" because I'm pretty sure there are no major network TV execs in here.

Don't take this the wrong way, man. I'd love to see your beloved Pirates in the world series with their beautiful ballpark battling out the Twins next october just as much it would be nice to see a Duke/Kansas BCS title game. But that's sure to happen around the time I get fucked by paris hilton.BSmack wrote:Yea really.
