Wow, a Laserjet 1200, that will be lucky to fetch $50.

Sad to see that happen, but you need to spend within your means, even if you are a high paid athlete.

I read about that on another message board...Mac has really fallen on hard times in his life. Lost his dad to cancer but started a charity in his honor, battled alcoholism, has always played hard but is always injury prone, got cut loose by the Wings before last year and now going bankrupt. I hope he's able to get through everything okay...he'll always be a favorite with WingFan.

A guy that made millions and has nothing to show for it. My pity meter isn't moving.

This is pretty old news, actually. About a year old. The only reason it's coming up now is cause his rings are among the items up for auction.

Given the fact that this guy wore his heart on his sleeve and personified the hard work and intensity that it took for the Wings to get those Cups, this is pretty sad. I feel for the guy.

Lots of articles in the Calgary papers about this stuff lately too... if you guys are interested, look up calgaryherald.com. Too lazy to direct you myself. :D

McCarty's current play, however, is not as endearing as my memories of his playoff performances. He's very lucky to even have an NHL job right now.
