Road to the Grey Cup

Post by Canadian »

Well there were a couple good games today. Winnipeg blew their lead and lost to Toronto. They basically gave the game away.

Next weeks Toronto/Montreal East final should be good. It is in Montreal but Toronto won 2/3 this year. I predict Toronto will win.

Saskatchewan game back from a 21-5 deficit to defeat the "Gopher haters" from Calgary. Ha Ha Sure a lot of Sask. Fans in the stands. I was glad Saskatchewan won. Calgary screwed themselves by turning the ball ver too much.

So I guess we will have a large Saskatchewan contingent here in town next week for the Western Final. Ssak sure has the most loyal fans in the league.

Saskatchewan won 3 of 4 against BC this season so this game is anyones. Sask is one of those teams that is so hard to predict. They may lose in a blow out or go on to win the Grey Cup. I think it will be close and since I am from Vancouver I will say BC will win but I won't hold my breathe.

I wonder if we will have a "Gopher" controversy here? I have seen opponents mascots here before so I would assume we will welcome "Gainer". ha ha

It seems strange to me Calgary would not allow Gainer to be on the sidelines and I think in a way it is "poor sportsmanship" even though it was a big game but this "Gainer" story sure was a big story in the media this week.

I think he looks kinda cool myself.

Part of me sees the Leo's fucking themselves in the Ass again, even though I want to see them stuf Montreal again in the Grey Cup.

Whatever the result, Danny Barrett deserves to keep his job.

Grey Cup 2006 site

I see Nelly Furtado is performing at half time. But we are still a week away as the Division finals are today.

Toronto At Montreal

I predict Toronto in a very close game.

Saskatchewan At British Columbia

I predict British Columbia in a high scoring affair that will be decided in the last 30 seconds of the game.

Toronto with Bishop and Arland saving their asses once more and BC kicking the Green Riders asses.

Another prediction, this will be Damon Allen's final year...

He really is done now.

Damon looked done today. He had a good career, but isn't he 42 or 43?

The lions sure kicked Saskatchewans ass.

I would say BC should beat Montreal, but Grey Cup is in Winnipeg so weather could be a factor too.
