Tag Team.. Wells/ Schilling vs. The Unit and A-Rod
I have a feeling this rivalry will get even more INTENSE as the season progresses!!

Big Unit and A-Rod??? The Yankees are sounding like the credits in a porno!
RED SOX - yankees rivalry heating up!!

I'd love to see Unit versus Schill a few times this year. Hopefully they can relive that epic Clemens-Pedro matchup during the playoffs two years ago where they had the benches clear. I hate the big spending but you can't help but love the general distaste for one another. I don't see any rivalry matching this intensity in any sport. The Wings-Avs were nasty on the ice for a few years but you didn't get all of the trash talk through the media like there is with this rivalry.

They haven't been taking the high road very much with anything lately.chowd103 wrote:Gonna be a war fellahs! I'm loving this.
BTW, has anybody heard of the 'Sox taking the high road when they hand out the rings VS the Yanks @ the Fens?
However, I think that Boston should have their ring ceremony on opening day as planned. Why should they consider moving it just because they open with the Yankees? If it were any other team, there would have been no question about it. They beat the Yank's in the ALCS & won the WS, they earned the right to pass out the WS rings on opening day for their fans. Changing that ceremony gives the Yankees ultimate 'bode.
BTW, I am a Yankee fan and hate the sox as much as sox fans hate the Yankees. But the sox earned some respect last year and the Yankees will show the class they have as an organization by not making a big deal about the ring ceremony.

It's official, but I think they are sizing the wrong fingers.

Sox took the bait from NY reporters. They should have been a little more savvy in there responses, on the other hand....Gotta love honesty instead of that political correctness that those corporate suits known as the Yankees spew. The Whistle Is Screaming wrote:They haven't been taking the high road very much with anything lately.chowd103 wrote:Gonna be a war fellahs!
