Sorry, Manning. This year, you will face a Patriots D that is actually healthy and you'll regress to your normal 3 INT, 2 fumbles, cry-baby self. On Monday night the Patriots exposed the Vikes for the frauds that they are. Same thing happens in 4 days... another fraud of a team exposed. The Mares have been doing it with smoke and mirrors all year long, their latest victory notwithstanding. It wasn't surprising to me and don't let it fool you either. Don't the Mares beat Shannie's teams like a rented Mule every time they play? No way a team that gives up 170 yards rushing/game will fare well against the two headed monster of Dillon/Maroney. Not to mention, Brady and his receivers actually appear to be on the same page and stuff. The Razor's crowd will be in frenzy from the opening kickoff right through Peyton's first INT and subsequent meltdown, all the way to end of a lopsided 33-10 beatdown.
Ship it.
Ship it.

In other breaking news, the sun is expected to set in the west this evening.

You actually agree with my take? The planets have aligned! Down = up. Black = white.
Colts won in Gillette last year 40-21, are undefeated this year, and beat the only team that has beaten NE this year. This isn't as Marcus Allen as starting a Ben Roethlisberger sucks ass and all Pittsburgh fans smoke Camels and pound Schlitz thread... ya know?

New England ain't the same team that lost earlier this year, the Colts made Travis Henry and Lendale While look like Larry Czonka and Mercury Morris, and Manning is who we thought he was.Ucant#-463,721 wrote:You actually agree with my take? The planets have aligned! Down = up. Black = white.

This game should be a blowout for the Pats.

Opinions may vary. The line is about the same as it was for Monday night's game... ya know, the game where the sexy pick by many of the so-called experts was the Vikings?
I have to ask you something... how many Camels do you smoke while you ride the recumbent bike?
I think the take is valid, but it comes a few months too early. Indy will probably win this game. The meltdown you're envisioning is definitely going to happen, but it will come in the second round of the playoffs - you know, when it actually matters.
Indy will no more reach the Super Bowl than will the Bears.

Who's in their way? I'd put them at about the 5th best team in football, but they are the class of a weak conference and I can't see anyone going into Soldier Field in January and beating them... not even a healthy Seattle team, nor an improving Vick led team.PSUFAN wrote:Indy will no more reach the Super Bowl than will the Bears.
I hope the Bears are still undefeated come Nov 26th. That'd make for some great drama.

Grossman, on occasion, looks rather pedestrian away from home. At home, he has a 124 passer rating and has 11 TD and O INT. Again, I ask you, what team is capable of beating the Bears at Soldier Field in January?
At this point in time, the Mike Brown injury is the only thing that could possibly keep them out of the Super Bowl, but then again, they're sorta getting used to dude being on IR.

It won't be anyone from the NFC EastDallasFanatic wrote:Whoever they play in the second roundUcant#-463,721 wrote:what team is capable of beating the Bears at Soldier Field in January?
Atlanta? No
New Orleans? Not on the road. Dome teams suck away from home in the playoffs.
Rams?see above.
Vikings? see above.
Panthers? The only team I give a semi-chance of winning because of their prior experience and Jon Fox is a decent coach.

Well... seeing as how Parcells has won exactly ZERO playoffs games for Dallas, I doubt it will be the vaunted Tony Romo Air Show.

Exactly how many playoff wins does Buddy Love have?
How many Superbowls has he coached in?
Just shut up already

Tony Romo is NOT going to lead the Dallas Cowboys to the Super Bowl or even the second round of the playoffs. The Bears have such a superior Defense over the rest of the NFC, they seem to have the ability to score a TD or force a turnover when they want to. That's fucking scary. The only reason I give the Panthers a chance is because their defense has a player in Peppers who is capable of taking a game over when he feels like it.DallasFanatic wrote:Don't be too sure of that dickhead.Ucant#-463,721 wrote:DallasFanatic wrote:Whoever they play in the second round

I don't know about a blowout but the Pats WILL get to Manning, whereas the Donkeys didn't.
Patriots 31
Colts 21

Just wanted to say thanks to all of you....that was a fun read....almost as much fun as watching ESPN suck Manning cock this morning, saying how great they are playing, and how the Colts are the team to beat, etc.
Yeah, right. Classic shit.....
I'm just a little skeptical of all this sudden praise this morning, just because they beat an OK Pat's team, without Rodney Harrison, Brady not playing for shit.....etc.
Hell, even our new and improved idiot kicker choked under the homecoming pressure.....
On a side note: It was sure nice to see the "old" idiot kicker fuck up as usual, and it not cost us a win... Damn, that was one awful kick....he said something after the game about how he knew it was good once he hit it, but then he heard the second thud, and knew that it wasn't going to turn out well....that just tells me that the sack of shit must have had his eyes closed.....
At least Vinatieri watched his kick sail wide right....

Sorry Tiny, you are off on this one. The ball came off his foot clean with good height. It was a breakdown on the left side of the line that didn't block Vincent at all. That was the reason the kick was blocked. It had nothing to do with the "idiot kicker".Tiny wrote:On a side note: It was sure nice to see the "old" idiot kicker fuck up as usual, and it not cost us a win... Gotta love the class of NE fan for booing Vinateri. Dude made three of the most clutch kicks inthe history of the game to help NE win some Super Bowls, yet he had the audacity to go to another team that offered him more money.
BOOOO!!!
Whatever.

Pardon me then, I was mistaken....
I ran it back and forth on the Tivo several times, and it looked to me like he hit it kind of low (trajectory wise anyway) compared to the distance. When he was in Indy, I worried about him getting blocked as much as him outright missing it, because of the lack of heigth on some of his kicks, IMHO. Distance wasn't one of MY big concerns; the guy has a good leg, and in the dome I always though they should have challenged him more, (by trying some longer kicks, instead of relying on Hunter to pen the opp team down inside the 10 all the time).
I guess I could have been mistaken, as perspective was kinda blocked (pun intended) by that big wall of rushers streaming in to block the kick.
