I had a beer over lunch

Post by indyfrisco »

Our production SAP system is down today for an upgrade so I am limited on what I can do so I said fuckit...I had a beer over lunch.

Besides Dins, who else ever had a cold one or two over lunch when your employer doesn't allow it?

There was no written rule I knew of. We chose not to return from lunch on more than one occasion though.

My boss has no problem with me having a beer...but urine-quaffing is strictly out.

I had a Miller Lite. Ok, so it's water with a splash of hops and barley. I'm not a beer snob...anymore.

I bartended for a living for a very long time. AM Waiting Tables, PM Bartending. It only meant one thing. 3 hours to kill between shifts. Hooters was 1/2 a mile away, and Nighttrips, probably OKC's nicest in "adult enterainment," was about 10 miles.

...titties and beer. I don't think I saved a dollar from a lunch shift in all of 1997.

You outlawed beer in our office everyone would just go home to work in the afternoon...
