NFL Network

Post by kcdave »

Chiefs vs donks

Should be a great game. Anyone outside of KC or Denver give a shit that you are missing it?

I'd be mad ass hell, if I could not watch. However, both of the local markets are allowed to air the game. Judging by the mess that is going on in negotiations, this is the best we can hope for, for now.

The NFL wants cable companies to offer the NFL Network in their basic package. Cable companies, dont want to eat the $$$'s that the NFL wants, and is only willing to offer it in some type of premium package form.

Looking at the schedule, I do not see many games that I cant live with out watching. However I do have a big problem with any game held on Thanksgiving night not being showed nation wide.

Thoughts?

Quickdraw McTart, I made an edit or 5. You may want to re-read.

Off topic, what time is it over there? Noon, Christmas Day yet? Or was that yesterday?

I think I'm very pleased I chose to buy DirectTV rather than Coxsucker Cable.

It's Easter right now, dave.

I'm sorry I'm missing the game.
Slant league basketball will have to suffice for muah.

Not being able to watch the Thanksgiving night game would be like being turned away from the bumper cars because you're a half-an-inch shorter than the wood TV0 statue.

Got it on Dish Network. If we didn't have a Steelers bar right down the road, we would have already switched to DirectTV with the Sunday Ticket. But since I would rather watch the games with 50 other screaming lunatics, it's not that big a deal to me.

I've got Comcast also. When I first got cable when I moved into my new house, I bought the expanded package with the 100s and most of the 200s channels (includes ESPNNEWS, NFL Network, ESPN Classic, G4, etc.) along with HBO and the digital music along with ordering NHL Center Ice and my internet connection. My bill each month from Comcast is over $100 but my phone bill with Vonage is only $18 so it evens out I guess.

I dont have NFL Network on my cable.

They need to go to ala carte package. I would rather choose about 30 or so channels that I would actually watch rather than have 200 most of which I have never watched. I would rather have one NFL network channel than 50 channels of Christopher Lowell doing drapes, Suzanne Somers selling tummy crunchers, or some Mexican soap opera (though the women on them are sizzling).

Anyway, I'll be on the deer stand and at the deer camp till late tomorrow evening anyway.
