Will The NFL Ever Face Reality?

And stop insisting that the Lions get to play every Thanksgiving?
"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

Tradition, tradition my man.

Just like every year I go out partying on Thanksgiving eve, go to the deer stand with my buds extremely hungover, then I fall asleep at the base of the tree.

Then they come wake me up, take me back to the house, I take a shower, smell the bird in the oven, and watch a bad pro football team. Tradition.

At least they could make it a NFC North matchup...Bears or Green Bay would make it alot more interesting than the Dolphins.

It is tradition as Neck said but it's getting harder justifying that they should keep this game when they have become the worst franchise in the league during Millen's reign of ineptitude. Thursday was painful to watch but it's hard to rip on these guys when they can never keep their team healthy. With Jones and pretty much the entire d-line...that wipes out the Lions' two strengths of their team. It's sick to say but I'm happy Joey came back into Ford Field and beat Millen and the Lions. I don't know what else needs to be done (or not done) to prove Millen is an utter failure and the fan base has had it.
