Since this is a happy-shiney holiday thread, I guess it's as good a place as any to say...

Yo, anybody traveling on I-40, Slow down, and don't take one for the road.

May the NFL games be decent (highly unlikely, sans KC-Denver), and may you all have damn good naps on Thursday.

I gotta call bullshit on this...

Troopers will be positioned every 10 miles along I-40 from Wilmington, N.C., to Barstow, Calif., from Wednesday afternoon until early Thursday.

No way in hell they can have enough troopers to pull this off. I've driven I-40 from Nashville to the Vegas turn-off and there are parts of that drive out west where I didn't see a living thing for hours.

Well, it is from today through like noon on Thursday ... plausible.

Besides, there was a press conference with troopers from Ark., Okla., and N.M., all touting it, in fucking Sallisaw, Okla.

Drive safe.

Aw yes, as good a 48 hr. span as there is in the entire year!

The family obligation fulfilled the day before
No work
Kids grown
Wife visits daughter 50 miles away
Fridge full of cold ones
Blessed good health
Plus we get a 60+ degree day

I've got plenty to be Thankful for.
Hope y'all do as well.
Enjoy.

Happy Thanksgiving to every one in here. (Even you, Notre Dame fan.)

Every one be safe and have a great day and/or weekend.

I like your checklist Jimmy. Completely agree. I will consume way too much of everything and like it.

I like your avatar even more.
