MAJOR upset happening at The Razor???
Nice job guys...had you let the Lions win this game, that would mean Millen would hold on a little while longer. Each additional loss should hopefully drive another stake in the heart of Millen and get him closer to the unemployment line. I'll give the Lions credit for hanging in but these guys have always been just good enough lose close games. Any given Sunday...

I hope you're joking...even Marinelli in just his first year sounds like he's off his rocker. He said in his presser today that they if they continue to work at it, things will get better. At the pace they are going, they'll be Super Bowl contenders sometime around 2054. Also, he claims that Kitna will be his QB for next year. He's putting up decent passing numbers but the guy makes bad plays late in games. I figured the guy to be a stop-gap option for this team until they find another QB of the future and ruin his career.
I'm already wondering who they'll take with that #1 or #2 pick. Early projections have either Brady Quinn, Joe Thomas or Gaines Adams. If Millen drafts Calvin Johnson, I'll lose it...even though they could use another receiver. At least not another first round pick. I'd go with Thomas because they need to another tackle desperately since Rex Tucker can never stay healthy. I do get nervous at the idea of drafting another mammoth Wisconsin tackle after the Aaron Gibson experiment.
(Roy) Williams and Jones were probably Millen's best picks/additions to this team and it came from one trade when they dropped back one spot in the draft and allowed the Browns to take Winslow. Williams and Jones are arguably one of the best young RB-WR duos in the league but since they're surrounded by crap and play on an awful team, they don't nearly get the attention the rest of the superstars in the league receive. Both guys have benefited from the Mike Martz offense...Williams is second to Chad Johnson in receiving yards and Jones is over 1000 yards of total offense. If I can point to a couple of bright spots or things I can at least be encouraged about with the Lions it's those two guys. Shaun Rogers could be one of the best defensive players in the NFL if he can stay healthy, clean and actually give maximum effort. The pick of Ernie Sims this year is proving to quality pick...he's making a strong case to be NFL defensive rookie of the year but might get edged out by A.J. Hawk.
