That's all the response Dave is worth these days. If he doesn't understand that the NFL network's battle with Time Warner and flexible scheduling are both caused by insatiable greed, then why bother being civil?ucantdoitdoggieSTyle2 wrote:Epic retort.BSmack wrote:How about I tell you to eat a fat dick?

The NFL isn't changing the Sunday schedule around and adding games on Thursdays and Saturdays for our benefit. It's to generate more revenue.
Is anyone debating this?

Yea, apparently Dave is. Otherwise he wouldn't be giving flex scheduling a pass while railing at the exclusivity of the NFL Network.ucantdoitdoggieSTyle2 wrote:Link to where anyone has debated this???BSmack wrote:If he doesn't understand that the NFL network's battle with Time Warner and flexible scheduling are both caused by insatiable greed

BTW: Unless you're a fan of the Steelers, you didn't miss a damn thing last night. Just a record setting night by Willie Parker, the complete domination of the Browns defense and the utter obliteration of Kellen Winslow's cheap shotting ASS.

Maybe, dipshit, he was just ragging on you for your totally fucked up opinion on the flex schedule's dramatic decrease in ticket sales. Could it possibly be... that's all he was intimating?
I would seriously consider suicide if I were as retarded as you are. How do you make it through the day being that retarded? Is it because you don't realize you're a fucking retard? That's got to be it. It doesn't bother you because you just don't get it.

Is it necessary for you to put words in my mouth again? How about we try this? You read (and suck dick or whatever else you do for crack) and I'll write. Because you are obviously incapable of both reading AND understanding written English. If you were, you would have realized that my argument against flex scheduling is multi-faceted. It not only can act to reduce ticket sales (as it did this week in Buffalo) but flexing also serves to inconvenience and alienate those who have already bought tickets.ucantdoitdoggieSTyle2 wrote:There you go again...BSmack wrote:Yea, apparently Dave is. Of course, whatever Dave's issue with my position might be, it isn't relevant to this particular discussion. Right now we're talking about how the NFL's greed is driving BOTH policies.

Link? Can you offer up anything in the way of proof that? No, dipshit, you cannot.BSmack wrote:It not only can act to reduce ticket sales (as it did this week in Buffalo).
The facts are, you dumb motherfucker, Buffalo has come up at least 7K short of a sell out in their two home games preceeding the Miami game. The fact that the Miami game is also is not a sell out has nothing to do with the flex schedule. The games against the Jags and Chargers were not flexed and yet they didn't sell out either. That is a motherfucking fact. Are these facts getting through that dumb motherfucking skull of yours? Another fact. The game was only flexed for 24 hours before being changed back. Your whole God Damned argument has been flawed from the outset. Do you realize that? No, you do not. Why? Because retards don't realize how stupid they are!
Go back and read my last post in your Buff vs Mia thread for the proof.

you might want to back away yourself and look to see if the Cowboys-Giants game was moved to a different time slot and how that affected their sales before you use that as any part of your argument. Might also want to look at stadium capacity and percentage of seats filled.

It is called logical induction. You see, it goes like this...ucantdoitdoggieSTyle2 wrote:Link? Can you offer up anything in the way of proof that?BSmack wrote:It not only can act to reduce ticket sales (as it did this week in Buffalo).
I know plenty of Bills season ticket holders. And to a man, they said that if the game was being held at 4:00, they would not go. You see, in December, temps around these parts tend to drop VERY quickly in the late afternoon hours. 1:00 games equal 4:00 finishes which equals people being in their cars and on their way home just as the temps are dropping from cold to freezing your nuts off cold. Conversely, a 4:00 start equals a 7:00 finish. Which means as temps are dropping, fans are sitting in a cold, windswept open stadium getting fucking frostbit as the winds start to pick up off Lake Erie.
Combine that with the fact that the NFL reversed course on their flex scheduling decision just 24 HOURS after CBS tried to move the game, leaving CBS with nothing in the 4:00 time slot save that always compelling Denver-Arizona matchup and making the deduction that ticket sales at the Ralph on the day the change was announced went from slow but steady to absofuckinglutely nonexistent isn't a very hard thing to do.
That is, if you have any knowledge whatsoever of this area's sports teams and markets. Which of course, you do not.

That is great, dipshit. Now go ahead and explain to me why the last two games at The Ralph against the Jags and Chargers didn't sell out either. Both were 1:00 games.BSmack wrote:It is called logical induction. You see, it goes like this...

Oh yea, when the people who have already shelled out hundreds of dollars for tickets decide not to show up, thats a good sign that walkup sales are not going to go well.Mikey wrote:Season ticket holders not showing up for the game does not equate to fewer tickets sold.

BTW: I enjoyed even more seeing the Steelers O line protect Ben like he was the fucking Hope Diamond. This is the first game where I can honestly say they looked dominant in both run and pass blocking. Of course I'm sure some of that had to do with the Browns' incompetence.

Allow me to clear the air.ucantdoitdoggieSTyle2 wrote:Maybe, dipshit, he was just ragging on you for your totally fucked up opinion on the flex schedule's dramatic decrease in ticket sales. Could it possibly be... that's all he was intimating?
I like the flex schedule. Why? 1. It pretty much assures I will get to watch one of the best match-ups that weekend, on Sunday night. 2. In some instances it also moves a game from the Noon time slot to 3:15 time slot. This increases the chances of me getting to see a "better," game, or at a minimum may give me the chance to see a team that I would not normally see. To the best of my memory, the Bills have not been on TV in KC this season. I for one, would have liked seeing that game.
I dont like the NFL Network or cable companies. Their bullshit dispute prevents me from seeing games. It also takes away the bonus games that we used to get. No more Thursday night ESPN games, and no more Saturday games in December.
Bri, sorry you dont get it. Flexing a game, may be an inconvenience for a few thousand fans. However the NFL Network will fuck over millions of NFL fans this season.
