NFL this week

Post by Dinsdale »

Haven't seen the real lines yet, but on our state run game, the Colts are -1.5. I think I've heard people using the phrase "second mortgage" in regards to that or something.

I rarely back a road favorite, but with 2.5 or less, it's essentially a pick'em...and I'll pick Indy, thank you very much.

Not liking too many others. I'm thinking SF over GB -4.5, and Jets -3.5 over Buffalo are probably OK.

I like Jax +1.5, Dins.

Don't have a strong belief either way on the other two games you mentioned.

An oh-fer...niiiiiice.

And to be honest the games I was "leaning towards," and my "wouldn't bet it, but if you put a gun to made head and made me pick one" choices ...I doubt I hit half of them.

buwahahahaha

nothing like making a mortgage call on a team, and they get fuckin shelled.

also, nice o'fer on your other bets.

a gambler should never throw stones, should be another nice lesson for dins, he makes a bullshit statement about my picks and does the o'fer with a bet the house and cash in the bonds bet.

parity in nfl has made it tough these days.

You, of all people, know how it is -- sometimes, you lay a big fat egg.

I don't see a whole lot of difference, really. Weeks 1 and 2, sometimes into 3, are a crapshoot. The middle part of the season makes for some easy pickens, and the last 3 weeks or so are toooough.

Same old, same old.

But this week, I just played a no-$ pick'em with friends, and had no money on it. Great week for an oh-fer.
