Desmond Howard - Total DUMBFUCK!

Post by indyfrisco »

Ok, so I watched The Office 1 hour christmas show just now with the wife on TIVO. She heads to bed so I flip it to ESPN to watch the second half of the Poinsetta Bowl. They are doing the halftime commentary and they get to a segment on "Most Intriguing Bowl Matchup". Flutie goes first with his pick.

Then they get to Desmond Howard.

He says, "Since it's the Holiday season, my favorite matchup is the Holiday Bowl between Cal and Texas (Frisco waves this off as a misspeak as he is accustomed to those)."

He goes on to say...

"Longshore is doing great and so is Marshawn Lynch. What I'm really interested in seeing is how Texas does with McCoy who is banged up and their backup, Jevon Snead, heading to Ole Miss."

HOE - LEE - FUCK is this the stupidest motherfucker I have ever heard? I mean, don't they have an "agenda" they plan before these telecasts so the talking head jocks can prepare a statement so they don't look entirely stupid? Someone is bound to throw that on Youtube at some point. I can't get to that site from work, but if anyone sees it, post it here.

Desmond Howard...product of Michigan...please.

Oh, and as they panned over to whoever the cracka was to his left, he had this look on his face like "What in the holy hell are you talking about?" There was like a 3-4 second pause, and the dude then turns to the camera and goes on to say how his intriguing matchup is between ND and LSU.

That was funny.

Desmond Howard is looking forward to seeing DeSean against CB Aaron Ross...

Unfortunately Des, he'll be playing A&M.

I switched channels when I saw that he was fucking up.

Truthfully though he has been solid for the most part....not homering or anything.

I meant that I wasn't homering...not him.

Did he say who he likes in the Iowa-Texas A&M game?

I'll take Iowa by 50. What do you think Frisco?

When Desmond was in town for the Iowa-OSU game, he said something retarded but I forget what it was. I just remember everyone in the crowd going "what the fuck is he talking about?"

No way man. We're the worst 6-6 team ever but A&M is still worse. Iowa 120 Aggies 3 (on a last second FG).

Actually, aTm is going to win going away against a fading Clemson defense in the Bluebonnet Bowl.

You've got to be kidding? His "takes" consist of stuff like, "Ohio St is a very good football team, Troy Smith is an excellent quarterback," etc., etc. I've never heard him say anything even the most casual CF observer wasn't aware of.

And his "comedic" "laidback" style is awkward, at best, evidenced by the example RF pointed out.
