I probably would if I didn't already have pretty much everything DM has ever released. Although I still don't have The Best of Depeche Mode yet (I hate that they released yet ANOTHER "best of" album with only one new song on it). Jeez, they already have 3 or 4 of them already. But I have to get this one for one reason - Martyr.

Ever since Jonathon Kessler became their "manager", DM has been putting out 4, 5, sometimes 7 different copies of everything they release. For Playing the Angel, I think there where like 5 different versions of one single, which is nothing more than a PR ploy to make money. So the only ones I collect from now on are the singles that contain the original version of the B-side. I hate that greedy corporate bullshit - something I hoped DM wouldn't get caught up in. Oh well, I still dig the shit out of them, even though they are getting old.

PTA was a disappointment to me. I really hated the mixing on that album. I can't even listen to "Nothing's Impossible" without cringing - something I NEVER did with DM before. And don't even get me started on that loud-as-hell, scare the shit out of you intro for A Pain That I'm Used To.

But now that I think about it, I'll eventually be one of those pathetic loser fans that has to get the remastered versions of the albums. I'm actually looking forward to the A Broken Frame release - that album was recorded way to low.

Thanks for the info though!
