run both computers through 1 keyboard,1mouse and 1 monitor.


i really cant get rid of my old computer right now, too much work shit on it, so i would like to have access for both and only have 1 keyboard,mouse and 1 monitor

As Martyred said, a KVM (Keyboard Video Monitor) switch. Bestbuy and Radioshack both sell a dual KVM for I think about $50. Some of them use USB (tend to cost more) while others use PS/2 for the keyboard and mouse connection. Anyway, go to your closest PC store and ask for a KVM switch and you should be able to pick one up. There is one model that even allows you to combine your sound as well.

If you want to get real impressive, you can get large server level KVMs that allow you to access your computers over the network using a terminal like interface.
