OT: I miss Dave Chappelle

Post by the_ouskull »

I don't know what set me off, but I broke out one of my Chappelle DVD's tonight, just for nostalgia, I suppose, and it got me kinda sad. I miss that guy's comedy. He was a funny motherfucker who got literally overwhelmed by his own fame. I think that, if I were out with my family and had strangers running up to me saying "I'm Rick James, bitch" and throwing around the n-bomb like it's "okay" 'cause he does it, I'd have probably needed some time to get away too. Too bad though, 'cause I think he's got a lot left to say.

RACK Dave Chappelle

Might be the funniest SOB alive today. I agree that he had another couple of good seasons left in him. I dont think he ever thought he ever would become that famous.

Not on the Chapelle Show, but I always liked that Sesame Street reset in one of his stand-ups.

Get it together, Grouch.

I loved all those skits. Too bad Dave kind of went off the deep-end.

I also miss the "Its a Wonderful Life" spoof with the big-tittied chick.
