Lots of head-scratchers on both rosters...

The East has a lot of first year All-Stars and only two players have more than 3 appearances. The West has more veterans but still have 10 All-Star rookies. The Eastern players have had better individual seasons...21 of the top 30 in scorers are from the East.
Strange selections of Staal and Williams when Canes teammates Brind'Amour and Whitney are having better seasons. Shanny's still my boy but he's 4th on the Rangers in scoring and the only one to make the All-Star team...Jagr should've been in over him. Half of the top 20 scorers overall aren't going...very strange.
Hasek should've been an All-Star but the fact he gets to rest during the break instead of playing and risking an unnecessary injury...win-win for the Wings. Zetterberg will be an All-Star plenty of times in his career but this year he hasn't been a very good. Lidstrom and Hasek are the only two Red Wings I'd consider to be All-Stars.
