Sure he's childish and insulting at times, but you do much the same thing, only more G rated. Probably the only people in this forum who don't indulge in that bullshit are MtLR, Tom in VA, and Phibes, Ang, Felix at times but not always. Bsmack only does when he gets baited, usually. Otherwise he's pretty solid. The best threads are the ones the above listed posters get involved in, because they are solid reads. They aren't dominated by the "you're stupid" "you fucking idiot". you have your head so far up your ass", "you suck cock for a living" "that's not what your mother said last night" tired crap.
Some people here actually like a decent debate that isn't littered with garbage, personal insults, chest thumping, and bravado. We have plenty of other forums here for that crap. Why not just one without?
For example, Whitey spends half or more of his time in here trolling and baiting others, and I've told him several times to stop shitting in here. so he has a very short leash, which he calls censorship. Go figure. I never shit in his forum, unless I dump his own messes back there. He likes that. Not much.
Whitey contributes virtually nothing of value, is pretty dense about most subjects and has a warped view of reality so his absolute garbage is much more likely to catch my attention than mvscals, yet I don't remove much more than a small percentage of his stuff, and I've done nothing for weeks or months now. He's beginning to get it. maybe?

You'll find plenty of pile ons with Whitey at the bottom. Better yet, go in there yourself and become a defender of Whitey. Watch the fun ensue.
mvscal brings it every day. I don't always agree, but given his contributions, I'm less likely to scrutinize him. I just know his insults are not intended to start a flame war like Whiteys, he really does think we're all dumbfucks.

The only time I've ever seen him really lose was an argument over who would win the last elections, and the iraq war justification shit. He hasn't been right on that one - yet. Other than that, no one else here knows as much about the military, and his grasp on world history and the geo political climate is solid.
